Audio to transcript

Uses server-side AI

Audio file

Your file is sent to Bento's transcription provider only after you press Create transcript. Bento does not save the audio or transcript.

Transcript

Your editable transcript and subtitle downloads will appear here.

How it works

From blank field to useful output.

  1. 01Choose an audio file
  2. 02Transcribe it with AI
  3. 03Download TXT, SRT, or VTT

Better output

  • Use the clearest source recording available and keep music below speech.
  • Review names, technical terms, and numbers before publishing the transcript.
  • Use SRT or VTT for timed captions and TXT when you only need editable copy.

Questions,answered.

Does Bento keep my audio or transcript?

No. The file is sent directly to Bento's configured transcription provider for this request and is not written to Bento storage. The result stays in your browser until you leave or reload the page.

Can I paste a YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or X link?

No. This tool accepts audio files you own or have permission to process. It does not bypass platform controls or download media from a social URL.

Which files work?

The first release accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, WebM audio, OGG, FLAC, and AAC files up to 10 MB. The file picker is limited to audio because this endpoint does not transcode or extract video audio.
